For 2 year I wanted to get my scuba diving open water certificate after diving with few friends and on trips but that didn’t happen because I ruptured my ear drum, but now finally that my ear is back to normal I can do the course and I will be starting it today! I hope that in a matter of 2 weeks or so I will be certified diver.

I will be taking the course with a private instructor here in Bahrain who has a pool in the house so timing is pretty flexible and convenient for me as my working hours different than most of the people out there. after that we will be arrangning for 2 open water dives before i receive my certificate.

I will post more about the course ones I’m done with it.

XSMG has manufactured the world fastest diesel 48′ speed boat; the XSR48, with an astonishing 2000 bhp cranking out from two Sterling Supercharged V8 engines that takes to speeds exceeding 100 mph (90+ knots). the boat is simply awesome.. I see it better than the Donzi and the Cigerette, but again thats just a personal opinion.

what I love the most about this boat is the futuristic look, the interior, and the performance obviously.

Now the story behind the fish..

in 2006.. specifically May .. I went on a graduation trip around the state of Florida with my parents; one of the stops was Key West (my favorite city in Florida) and as a part of key west’s activities we went deep sea fishing. so during the fishing trip.. I ended up catching this fish! it’s an Amber Jack.. the damn thing weighs 55 LB and it’s about 53″ tall! it took me 45 minutes to pull it out of the water so I wasn’t going to throw it back.. I asked them to preserve it for me and ship it to Kuwait.. but due to unforeseen circumstances the fish took only 2 years to arrive in Kuwait ! and i’m happy to it it now !

i’m going to try to list things that can’t be done if the weather is like this…

1. Drive your new black car even if you wash it every other hour. (it will chip the paint also)
2. Fishing
3. Water sports
4. Sit outside
5. See the sun
6. Breath well
7. See well
8. Not have allergies
9. Eat (your food will taste like sand)
10. Enjoy your weekend damn it !

Please add to the list.. you never know.. the sand might read this and decide to leave us alone!

Now lets list the good things about the hotel:

• Great rooms, it better be since the hotel is new.
• Room service is pretty damn good as well.. quick and a menu with a good variety.
• Food IS AMAZING in the french restauran. very classy.. pricey though
• Beach is nice (not great though)
• Pool is AMAZING! (but it’s not as big as it looks in the website)
• Seemed like they have a good concierge service(my cousin was taking care of that)

Now the bad stuff:

• Beach/pool side service SUCKED ASS .. if you want water after the first one you ordered make sure to order it as soon as the first one arrives (it’s probably because the staff still needs more training)
• The have a bar called Alhanna Bar.. com on now.. isn’t Hanna and bar the same? it’s like say i’m going to the Ma63am Restaurant.

P.S. arrange transportation.. make sure it’s from the hotel.. we got nailed with transportation on the way to the hotel.
