Few days ago we watched New In Town on DVD. the movie was ok in my opinion, had some funny stuff (I guess too romantic for my taste). I loved the accent, it was amazing :P

The movie is about am executive that was sent to a factory own by her company to restructure it and ended up closing it up making the town out of jobs, soon after that she decided that was wrong and managed to help the town… and of course while she was there she falls in love (the too romantic for my taste part).

As usual i’m a little bit late to watch a movie.. but “better late than never”. two days ago I watched “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” with GS and HJ, I believe the 3 of us agreed that the movie was pretty damn good. my only complain about the movie was it’s length but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s an amazing movie and it’s must be watched at least ones.

The movie revolves around the life story of Benjamin Button, who was born on the day the war ended and was abandoned by his father because he was born with the characteristics of an old man. later they realized that Benjamin is aging backwards. during his life Benjamin falls in love and it shows you how his extra ordinary life goes .. and what happens through out the backward moving years of his.

Yup… in a church’s confessional box.. during the morning mass.. “imagine her self praying when someone is moaning next to you?? it has to suck!!”

apparently the atheist couple saw it  normal to have sex in place that is like any other place to them. “that was actually their defense”

• Desperate housewives
• and and and… i’m sure i’m missing something :P

as most of you may know the TV shows has started already and the rest is to start within a month or so. so now i’m ready to start buying season passes on iTunes… and the shows I have in mind are:

1. How I Met Your Mother season 4 (must see)
2. The Office season 5 (definitely a must see and I can’t wait for it to come out)
3. Heroes Season 2.5 & 3 (definitely a must see)
4. Desperate Housewives season 5
5. Entourage season 5 (not sure if i will be as hooked as before but it’s a good show)
6. ’till Death season 3 (good times)
7. MONK season 7 (downloaded all the released episodes)
8. Scrubs season 8 (can’t wait !!)
9. 30 Rock season 3 (to be released in Oct.)
10. Prison break (I gave up on this show and won’t watch the rest)
11. Dexter (still haven’t finished season 2, but want to see them all)
12. Big Bang Theory (must see for geeks)
13. Rules of Engagement (hilarious)
14. Greek season 2
15. Gossip Girl season 2

So god help to finish all these and review them.. that will be one hell of a job! let me know what do you plan to watch.

Shows the I have watched already:

• New Amsterdam: The immortal detective.. the shows is pretty good but I can’t really judge because only 8 episodes has been aired. so I will update later.
• Kyle XY: Great show.. season 1 and 2 are out already, you can download them from iTunes. the I can’t talk about the show much because it will ruin it. but I have to say one bad thing about the show.. sometimes the are cheezy !!
• Stacked: Funny, Silly, and fun to watch. nothing special about it other than the fact that you can play any episode to waste sometime when you want.

Shows I’m Watching and planning to watch:

• Scrubs Season 7: Can’t say a word… my favorite show.
• Rules of Engagement Season 2: the show is hilarious .. David spade is an idiot as usual but that makes the show what it is now. definitely a must watch.
• The Big Bang Theory: Watched the 1st episode and I can see my self finishing it.. it a different type of humor and alot of thought and research is put into the show even though it’s as time wasting as possible.
• House: Me and G are watching it (G has already seen it but as usually he’s watching shows again with me, what a good friend) the show about this dr. who is arrogant and brilliant at the same time. every episode is another story which is my kind of show. I started hating the shows where you get hooked and can’t stop watching
• Desperate Housewives: finally the show is back. it’s one of my favorite shows at this time. seems the the continuation my end up being as good as the show has been.

Can’t wait for the rest of the shows to start airing again.. I need more shows to kill some of my unemployment time!

Now lets talk about the damn show..

In a nutshell, this writer who for some reason seems to (he actually does) get laid at least once every episode if not more, is inlove with the mother of his only daughter which he was never married to (never stops him from having sex with the other ladies, no string attached kinda deal). obviously he’s not with her and thats why he’s deeply in love. the story revolves around how he tries to get back with her and how shit keeps coming his way. alot of sexual scenes and language through out the show.. definitely 18+ and in Kuwait it’s 16+ (ops i mean 21+)

Not going to spoil it for you, watch the show with an open mind..

side note: don’t watch it with your wives, lovers, girlfriends.. hot girls are all over the show and you don’t want yourself drooling in-front of your lover especially with valentines coming soon ;)
