Ponzi scheme: An investment scam that appears to be actually paying high returns by paying the supposed returns out of the investors’ own capital.

The guy for roughly 20 years kept showing awesome returns by showing high returns through paying investors with other investors money, costing investors an expected amount of more than $50 billion!!!

Really this industry is full of shit.. I can’t believe im stepping in it just as the hell broke loose ! but what can I say.. I love trading.

I’m sure everyone knows about whats happening with Gulf Bank and Im also sure that rumors are going around about exactly what has happened.. we all know it’s the result of forex derevatives positions that that went against some clients (institutional).

what I really wonder isn’t whats going to happen to the bank.. I can see the bank surviving the crisis with the help of the centeral bank, investors, and the government. what I really want to know is this a one time incident that happened or another banks are involved in the same types of transactions with uncredible clients?

On saterday an auction to have lunch with the legendary investor Warrent Buffet ended when the winner paid 2.11 million US dollars! the winner is a chinese Fund Manager with an EBay username Greenteabag.

The auction proceeds will go to the Glide Foundation.

I wonder who is going to pay for the lunch ??

If he drops a thousand dollar, he won’t even bother to pick it up bcoz the 4 seconds he picks it, he would’ve already earned it back.
The US national debt is about 5.62 trillion, ifBill Gates were to pay the debt by himself; he will finish it in less then 10 years.
He can donate US$15 to everyone on earth but still be left with US$5 Million for his pocket money.
Michael Jordan is the highest paid athlete in US.If he doesn’t drink and eat, and keeps up his annual income i.e. US$30 Million, he’ll have to wait for 277 years to become as rich as Bill Gates is now.
If Bill Gates was a country, he would be the 37th richest country on earth.
