Yesterday I had two finals, and i cant really say i did well in either of them. Actually i did really bad in the second one. Left half the pages blank.. Yep,, I just didnt know what to write! Ofcourse i made up some values and guessed on a few questions so i wouldn’t leave it ENTIRELY blank, but that wont do. And to think i was aiming for an A! Huh ! Guess i can kiss that one goodbye.
Today i had one lousy final, and again i didnt do good, let’s just hope the doctor feels sorry for me and gives me a better grade than i deserve :P It’s a good thing i didnt fall asleep during the exam.
Now am too tired to study for my last final -.- I think am gonna take today off and start studying tomorrow..

Allah Yaster bs,, Madry sh’aakhrat’ha m3a hal Kuleya !

Ok, so i started studying today, finished a whole chapter, but then i was too tired and too hungry to continue, i got to a point where i was reading the same sentence over and over again without having any clue whatsoever as to it’s meaning. It was then that i was “Saved by a phone call”, my uncle asked me and my sisters to go check his new restaurant and try the food. It’s a japanese restaurant/supermarket (I dont know if i can even call it a restaurant cause theres no place to sit, just takeout and home delivery.. but you know what i mean =p) anyway so we get there, the place is amazing.. Small but perfect!

The food was great.. Kinda like maki with less mayo, and a bit like Kei with more flavour to it, and that’s the best part! Of course you’d have to try it a few times before you know what you like best. Personally, i thought “Crazy Maki” was one of the best, and i made sure my uncle knew that. (There’s more but right now, that’s all i can remember :P)

After a couple of hours of “tasting” 20 kinds of sushi, i felt like i just had two dinners, and i decided to head back home, next week enshalla i’ll go there again and try a few more ;p (Ill make sure i know what am eating then =p)

In two weeks enshalla, when the restaurant’s open, you can start ordering from Meli Melo (In el She3ib) and tell me what you think ;D

As for the supermarker, i dont know if some of you remember the “Zero Calorie Sweetner” i’ve talked about before, you can find it there as well (Thank u Ray for pointing that out).

In short, you can find whatever you need to either make sushi, or eat it at Meli Melo! (Ok that just sounded like a line from a tv commercial :P)

Seriously, wait and try it, then you tell me what you think ;D

I wonder if it’s like that in all universities or just KU? that the students are always the victims, in each and every situation even if they’re not responsible for whatever’s happening. Last week i learned that i had two midterms on the same day. That sucks i know, but what can i do right? i decided to go to one of the professors and ask about the time of his exam, and guess what? both exams start at 12:30 and end at 2:00pm! Now what can i do about that?! i mean come on, how am i supposed to be in two places at once?!
I went to both professors and told them about the situation, neither one believed me at first. I had to go back and forth between them till one of them decided to “THINK” about it. He asked me to come back the next day, i did but ofcourse he was still trying to figure out what to do. Finally, when i asked him today -i was expecting him to say something like; i dont know yet, or im not sure- he told me there were other students with the same problem so we’re gonna have to take the exam after 5 days from the original date. I was too happy to listen to what he was saying after, i mean who wouldn’t want to have five extra days to study or review? Especially when you’re not ready and the subject is very hard! My happy moment was exactly just that, a moment. I heard the doctor mention something about the exam being harder, so i asked him about it, and here’s what happened,

Me: “Doctor did you just say el emte7an bekoon 9a3eb?”
Professor: “Yes el midterm ra7 ekoon a93ab mn the original one. Like an incomplete”
Me: “Mo thanbna eli 9ar, you cant do that”
Professor: “Wala thanbi ana” *smiles*
Me: “Bs doctor this subject is one of the hardest subjects we have to take o el kameya wayed”
Professor: “Again, mo thanbi” and he leaves.

So now im stuck at home studying for God knows how long, and i know im not gonna do good. Somehow whenever i hear the word “Incomplete” i imagine getting 2/25, and this isn’t any subject we’re talking about, its Thermodynamics !

Ed3ooli people, i need an A ! =(

Ive always been a fan of this brand. Love the casual look of it. But to tell you the truth, i have never been into their store before, until last january when i heard they had just opened their store in london, which was great since i was going there for the holiday. So when i get there, i start looking for it, whilst knowing just one thing about it ; the fact that it’s situated off bond street. But i dont find it and start asking around. Of course all different people i ask point me in different directions, and that really annoyed me ! I even remember someone telling me ” You cant miss it with it’s loud music “. And i did..
Finally, after almost 30 minutes of walking around and asking, i notice two very handsome, lean, young guys standing outside a building holding the doors for a bunch of girls who were going in, and i hear the “Loud” music then run (i literally ran :P) to the doors!
First thing i see when im in is this topless male-model standing right infront of the door taking pictures with almost every girl in the store ! (there was an actual queue lined next to him =p) So i think, i wanna take a picture too ! and next thing you know im standing right behind those girls waiting for my turn :P unfortunately i had no time, (it was either i shop or take picture!) so i didnt take the picture.
A few days later, i go there again, and i see a different model with a Not-So-Much-Of-A-Charming-Appeal as the one before. That was enough to make me NOT want to take the picture anymore!
But aside from that hot model (and all the other models working there) the place looked well organized and well structured. A two storey building with almost every corner of it used up. But there was one thing that i didnt like about it though, The music being too loud for you to even hear the person next to you talking. Other than that i can fi nothing that i didnt like about that place ;p

Yesterday on the way back home i had a car accident and my car went out of control for a while, but thank God there werent many cars around and i finally parked it before i crashed into anything. I got out to see what happened to notice two flat tires. And there was no way i could drive the car anymore! So first thing i do is call my dad. No answer, i call my sisters, no answer! I call my friends, none pick up! So i just stand there staring at the car when all of a sudden this car parks behind mine and a guy comes out to help.

Guy: 3asa mashar shfeeha sayartech?
Me: (emtan7a ofcourse) Elshar mayeek (and i show him the damage)
Guy: Dont worry i’ll fix it for you, entay bs ge3day bil sayara o i’ll tell you when im done
Me: La it’s ok my dad is on the way, thank you though ……. *LIE*
Guy: La shda3wa i can do it (and he starts working)

A few minutes later my dad calls and tells me what to do. My friends call a minute later and come pick me up.
The poor guy hadn’t realized that two tires were damaged and he couldn’t fix both. Ofcourse the thought of pointing that out didn’t occur to me until my friend asked me to do so. So i tell him he doesnt have to fix it cause there wont be any difference but he insists on finishing his work, and he does.
I couldn’t help but thank him a MILLION times afterwards, i was so grateful. After all the stories i’ve heard about these situations, i never thought a guy like him would step up and help out, and am happy to say he proved me wrong. = )
