Bushido is the new IT place in Bahrain since it opened couple of months ago, It’s a Japanese restaurant with a lounge in the second floor.. so lets talk about it

Restaurant:

Their starters are as good as any other good Japanese restaurant so I wouldn’t be expecting anything special there, yet it’s good. the sushi I thought was below average. their main course though was pretty amazing, I tried ther rip-eye teppanyaki and it was delicious!

The lounge:

remind me of Buddha bar (hence the rumour that Bushido is a Buddha bar replica, it’s not though) the atmosphere is amazing but the service was bad the first time I was there. Yet I think it was better the second time around.

definitely worth seeing.. for the atmosphere at least.

This is a great website for people who uses the King Fahad Causeway often. it has a live update of the traffic status on the bridge for both ways. I can’t say how accurate is it because I haven’t compared it to real time and I’m not a frequent traveller on this route.

It has been a while since I woke up early since my working hours are pretty damn screwed up. but today I woke up around 8 and decided to go for a breakfast, and the choice was Johnny rockets. after this breakfast I declared waking up early as a bad habit and it makes you fat because I ended up ordering the following:

Before I left work today I was chatting with GS and HJ and somehow we decided we are going to try to make Marag Bamya, and guess what .. it happened.. and it tasted so damn good! it feels like I was having dinner at home! you can’t beat Marag Bamya, Rice, and a Little ma3booch & achar!

When my car was at the shop I rented a Hyundai Accent from national rental at the airport, the reason I went with them was obvious, I was looking to rent the cheapest vehicle that moves me from point A to B, and it was this little beast you see. the cost of this car for the week was 72 BHD + 3 BHD for gas. not bad considering how much we used it.

This post goes out to Bahraini’s and anyone visiting Bahrain, I found out from a friend about this puma store outlet located in the middle of a residential compound in budayia. they have fairly new inventory of puma and from my understanding they change whats on display every week or so.

I will have to say they prices on average are 65% below the original price… if you like puma then this is a bargain !

if you have ever been to Bahrain then there is a great chance you have been to the Adliya area where all the restaurants and bars are, and you probably noticed how messed up the parking condition is . well not for long, few weeks ago (about 2 or 3) they started the construction and paving of that area.. and i must say, the are doing a great job (I just hope the final project is as good as the process seems to be)

if you look at the picture above you will see part of the parking spaces in Adliya and the amount of workers… it’s a ridiculous amount of people working! and they are doing it FAST !!

So I finally decided to join a gym, I choose Maya Fitness for 4 reasons really

1. They are 2 minutes drive from where I live.. it’s in amwaj islands
2. it’s a small gym (I don’t like big ones)
3. it’s really clean and well maintained.
4. The view is nice when you doing some cardio.

I love the view.. not a big fan of scenery or anything like that.. but this view gets me..

This weekend was the 2nd Bahrain International Motorshow. lets put it this way, the show has few interesting things but it could have been a lot better.. it was really a commercial thing more than a place for enthusiast..

After we finish looking at the previous cars.. they where announcing the Bigfoot trucks session.. it was pretty cool but they only had one truck.. and of course.. to broke down few minutes into the show.. but we did get to see that thing crush some cars so it was fun.

After that we kept moving and saw some classic cars and frankly this is the only one that got my attention (don’t get me wrong there is some nice ass classics)

After that I saw two beautiful machines… the Rx-7 (heavily modified) and the Ducati  1098 Performance Edition

Very nicely done…

Over all, the even was good… but again like I said, it could have been alot better.

p.s. I heard  that one the first day they had an M3 for test drive.. unfortunately I couldn’t make it to that.
