On the 9th of Sept. Zain Kuwait has officially re-launched their WAP portal which I really didn’t get the chance to try yet but here are some of the features you can get by using it:

• Ordering flowers, groceries, cakes and cookies on the go “now that’s a attention grabber”
• Find a phone number for any store, restaurant, or any other commercial entity.
• Where to go this week
• News
• Islamic section which provides you with quran to listen to, and prayers timing.
• Events notifier
• oh yeah, and you can read my blog on it as well ;)

To access the Zain WAP

• Send MI as an sms to 99999
• Save the setting you receive
• Enter the following URL into your phone browser http://wap.kw.zain (yes it’s http://wap.kw.zain)
