As most of you are hearing, Oil prices have been surging day after day in the past 2 years or so. even though it’s justified that oil prices will go up I didn’t see it happening that it will reach a price of as high as $143 per barrel and expected to reach $170 by year end according to some analysts.

What i’m wonder is how people “especially” in the US and Europe are handling that. I remember when I first moved to the states back in 2001 I used to pay something around $25 to fill my car tank, and 5 years after than in 2006 I filled the same damn car with the same gas grade for $55, that’s 2.2 times the price in just 5 years or less! According to today’s gas prices (where oil is trading at $143) it would cost me a little more than $70 to fill the tank. oh and it’s not an SUV, it’s the BMW 325Ci.

This high oil prices might be good to some economies such as the members of OPEC, but is it really fair for the rest of the economies and consumers?

Now this lego Tic Tac Toe is awesome! as a start you don’t have to waste so many papers to play few games, plus it’s really cool looking. the game consist of the lego board and 10 figures of which 5 are policemen and 5 are robbers. and it’s not that expensive either, it costs $18. sounds like a good gift to me.

I was surfing the net trying to kill some time before I sleep and I found this experience which reminded me of blogger who want to be an Astronaunt , so this post goes out to.

The Kennedy space center in Florida is offering training course that costs $250 per person for the all day course which includes mission simulation in a real side shuttle and a VIP tour of the Kennedy Space Center.

sounds like an interesting experience to me especially that I will probably not read the moon or go to space.

The Nokia E71 is finally on Nokia’s website now. I wonder if anyone know when will it be released here in Kuwait, the last time I asked they didn’t know so I ended up getting the E51.

Scrubs will be airing for one more season! seasons 8 should be produced by ABC though.. thats good so I can get it on iTunes.

lets hope after all they decide there will be season 9 instead of finishing the series only with 8 season. scrubs is by far my favorite show, can’t wait for it to start.

On saterday an auction to have lunch with the legendary investor Warrent Buffet ended when the winner paid 2.11 million US dollars! the winner is a chinese Fund Manager with an EBay username Greenteabag.

The auction proceeds will go to the Glide Foundation.

I wonder who is going to pay for the lunch ??

Few days ago I finally received my FISH !!!

Now the story behind the fish..

in 2006.. specifically May .. I went on a graduation trip around the state of Florida with my parents; one of the stops was Key West (my favorite city in Florida) and as a part of key west’s activities we went deep sea fishing. so during the fishing trip.. I ended up catching this fish! it’s an Amber Jack.. the damn thing weighs 55 LB and it’s about 53″ tall! it took me 45 minutes to pull it out of the water so I wasn’t going to throw it back.. I asked them to preserve it for me and ship it to Kuwait.. but due to unforeseen circumstances the fish took only 2 years to arrive in Kuwait ! and i’m happy to it it now !
