Madrid
Last weekend (starting Thursday) I went to Madrid. I have to admit, I fell in love with the city. I even requested an application to apply to IESE Business School for MBA.. which I will hopefully work hard enough to get accepted to.
Now the city.. first of all.. Hotel Silken Puerta America is one of the best designed hotels I have ever been to, the hotel is 13 floors which every floor is designed by different designer. I stayed on the 3rd floor which was designed by David Chipperfield.

The hotel’s room service is excellent, good restaurant, good lounge on the 13th floor with a city view, and good coffee at the ground floor’s bar. check out the website, it’s very nice.
The first night nothing really happened, I was catching up with my friends from Madrid.. we went to have dinner at a tapas place in Madrid called La Canaria, obviously great food (I Love tapas, especially at this restaurant).
Friday we went to see the Real Madrid Stadium, we took the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu tour which takes you around the Stadium starting at the top of the stadium then to the Bernabeu museum then to the field then the lockers and press room and finally the store. nice tour

Later than night we went to Buddha bar and then we hung out with some friends.
On Saturday we went to Gran via and we walked around for a while during the day and then we went home to my friend’s place and took a nap until 9 (really tired from last night) and then we had dinner in some restaurant i can’t remember now (tapas as well) and went to see some friends that we couldn’t see earlier.
Sunday I flew back to Amsterdam and took the train to Rotterdam.
