Camera Alert

A new traffic speeding camera has been installed on Damascus street. the camera is not yet functional and that is proved by my radar detector (Passport 8500) and by testing with my car doing about 140kmph.
I would love to update on the functionality of the camera but I’m leaving on Monday so if the camera isn’t activated by tomorrow I Apologize that I won’t be able to make this update.
Locations of the camera:
Damascus street, between Alrawdha (on your right) and Alodailiya (on your left) if you are heading towards 3rd ring road.

I ditched my passport a couple years ago .. get a euro-band detector. I get over 1km warning with my Bel-550 .. you just need to do some tuning.

K.TheKuwaiti: 1km warning is pretty damn good.. the only reason i’m sticking to my passport is that it’s hardwired into my car ever since it was in the states.. i know my self if i use the one with wire i’ll make sure that i loose the wire in no time or someone will take it from me :P unless i can find the hardwire cables of the Eurobank then i will probably switch.

It shouldn’t be to hard to switch over the cables .. cut off the old ones and replace it with the new ones. Its two cables, – and +.

K.TheKuwaiti: I guess not ut mine has the mute feature mounter on to of the steering wheel.. i’m sure there is a way around it though.

Very.Q8ya: not there is a permanent camera between el-rawdha and el-3dailya.. so watch out for it ;)
