Today I received an email from one of the readers here asking me why i’m being lazy and not posting as much as I used to .. well, you reserve every right to ask whats going on and I have to answer..

For the past 2 weeks I have been so busy at work to a point I don’t even have the time to check on the blog status and after that I go home and again start working on a project of my own. and if you are going to ask about the weekend my answer is “el-jan6a with me bil sayara el-khamees… Directly to chalet from work!”

Sorry if i disappointed anyone but i promise this won’t last for long inshalla.. I will be back on track as soon as i’m done with what i’m doing

P.S. i’m never lazy… I just can’t multitask that good ;P

I received this SMS from a friend.

“النائب المطير: نرفض عطلة السبت و التشبه باليهود و سيكون لنل وقفه غدا”

is this guy out of his mind? what does Saturday weekend have to do with trying to imitate jews? i though the Islamic holiday is Friday which i believe is still going to be the same…

please someone tell me that this SMS is just going around for no reason and that Almutair didn’t actually say that because if he did say that I want someone to tell me what does he mean by that.

Today i went to a friend’s house and we watched these two movies … Lady Vengeance & Stock, Lock and Two Smoking Barrels. here is what I thought of each:

Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels: Amazing movie.. it’s funny, twisted, and enjoyable! a must watch .. it’s about 4 friends if i may call them who put all their money together and put in a poker game and they end-up loosing it plus some more money which they borrowed. they have to come up with the money within a week .. I don’t want to ruin the movie so you must watch it!

Lady Vengeance: Very disturbing movie, but it’s a movie I don’t regret watching. it’s very violent, very twisted, and alot of blood which isn’t my type usually but since i loved Oldboy and Fahad suggested the movie at the Oldboy post I figured I must watch it. The movie is about this girl who gets imprisoned for killing a young kid even though she didn’t commit this crime and when she gets out of prison she start implementing the plan she had set in prison to take revenge from the person who caused her imprisonment for the past 13 years. with the help of her fellow inmates she work on this revenge plan and the story goes from there.. again it’s a great movie but too bloody.

I’m watching the F1 Race using the live timing on the F1 website! that is just annoying! i can’t believe i have to go through this to be able to watch my favorite sport! and my driver isn’t winning which makes it even worse!

Today I broke my old record of waking up and making it to work which was 20 minutes!!

Woke up at 8:15… I was signing in at 8:33!! Beat that people! (doesn’t mean I was awake by the time i reached work though lol)

Thanks god our coffee machine is an actual human being at work! it would’ve been like this

Today I went to donate blood at the Blood Bank in Jabriya. I was impressed by how quick and efficient they are. The whole process took about 20 minutes including the qualifying test, filling up the forms, and donating the blood.

The form… I have to talk about that!! it’s the funniest application i’ve seen! “not saying it’s useless or there is no reason for it.. but it’s different :P”

the form has bunch of Yes/No question which all 90% of them revolve around Aids basically… some of the questions are:

• Are you donating blood to test your self for AIDS?
• Did you have sex with a guy, even once? (for guys only)
• Did you pay for sex?
• Have you been paid for sex or given drugs to do so?
• and the questions are almost all around this subject ;P

After finishing the blood test they gave me JUICE !!!!! they are so nice … after i left the building and got into my car and started driving i realized that I was so light headed that I drove on the wrong side of the road

Anyone with blood type O+ and the time please go to the Blood Bank in Jabriya to donate blood for Abdulrahman Al-Sane’e (mention the name at the front desk). He will be needing blood for his operation this week..

Today I finally watched Memoirs of a Geisha and it turned out to be alot better than what i’ve expected. the movie is about this orphan girl in japan who was sold to a geisha house at the age of 9. after joining this house she faces cruel treatment from both the owner of the house and one of the geisha’s that is jealous and scared she might take over her fame.

 Chiyo then grows up to be the #1 geisha or the most desired one in the whole region which makes her older sister in the geisha’s house jealous even more and try to take revenge. and the story revolves around how does Chiyo overcome the mistreatment and obstacles she faces in order to reach what she dreamed to have.

I loved the movie and I think it’s a must see for whomever didn’t get the chance to see it.

Side note.. One day I will have a garden like the ones in Japan because they are simply BEAUTIFUL!

Wed. the 23rd of May is the release of Pirates of The Caribbean 3, or At World’s End! I Can’t wait to see this movie.. it should be ridiculously amazing! I’m trying to attend the first show hopefully on Tuesday if they release it.

I love the fact that it’s coming out in theater on the 23rd.. which is 2 days before it’s release in US!
