Oldboy

Today I watched Oldboy, a Korean movie I bought when I was in Lebanon in October and never had the chance to watch. well, today I finally got around watching it. The movie story revolves around a guy who get s kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years and when he gets released he start looking around for his kidnapper seeking revenge, but it turn around that his kidnapper is psycho! and the story goes from their.. I loved the movie, the idea behind it was smart in my opinion because I wouldn’t have guessed what will happen at the end. My only issue with the movie is the torture scene which only last few seconds.
I would rank it as a 8/10..
oh I forgot to mention, the cast speaks in Korean, so subtitles is a must :P

It is great dark film. I love Korean films and I love Park Chan (the director). He have other vengeance themed films, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance , and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
